Optolong 2' Filter Set with LRGB /*C*and*C*/ 7nm H-Alpha Filters

Whether you're interested in viewing the planets in our solar system /*C*or*C*/ deep-space imaging, the Optolong LRGB/H-Alpha filter set combines all of the filters you could ever need for stunning views of the night sky. In this set, you will get Optolong's Luminance, Red, Green, /*C*and*C*/ Blue (LRGB) filters /*C*and*C*/ a 7nm Hydrogen-Alpha filter. All filters are housed in a 2' cell.

All Optolong filters in this set are made with Schott glass that has been multi-coated with an ion-assisted deposition technology to ensure scratch resistance /*C*and*C*/ stability on the central wavelength, /*C*or*C*/ CWL. The filter cells are made of lightweight, strong metal /*C*and*C*/ are CNC machined, sand-blasted, black anodized, /*C*and*C*/ then laser engraved. The result is a super thin filter cell that will produce a clear aperture of 45mm.

Optolong LRGB Filter Set - The Optolong LRGB Filter Set comes with four 2” mounted filters, including Red, Green, Blue, /*C*and*C*/ Luminance. They are designed for de-bayered monochrome CCD /*C*and*C*/ CMOS cameras /*C*and*C*/ work great for both planetary /*C*and*C*/ deep-sky imaging. /*C*Like*C*/ all Optolong filters that are designated as “CCD”, this filter set blocks infrared wavelengths from 700nm to 1100nm so you don't need a separate IR-Cut filter.

Optolong 7nm H-Alpha Filter - The Optolong H-Alpha 7nm is an extremely narrow emission-line filter that works by allowing a 7nm bandwidth of light, centered on the 656nm wavelength through, /*C*and*C*/ blocking the transmission of contrast-killing light pollution wavelengths. Wavelengths that are responsible for natural light pollution, /*C*or*C*/ skyglow, are drastically reduced, as is artificial light pollution caused by high /*C*and*C*/ low-pressure sodium vapor /*C*and*C*/ mercury vapor lights. The result is a high contrast image that reveals the H-alpha line in all its glory.
